OnCourse Edition 3 features a new stylish design, 20-channel SiRFstar III Low Power Chipset for high sensitivity and high performance.Powered by the latest firmware version 3.2.4 (SW Version GSW3.2.4), the OnCourse Edition 3 is fast to acquire a GPS fix and performs well in both navigation in a car or in walking mode.The OnCourse Edition 3 continues the tradition of its predecessors on reliability, solid performance under all conditions (urban canyons, in the mountains, or under dense foliage), and provides faster GPS fix. 

Software compatibility: The OnCourse Edition 3 is compatible with nearly any GPS mapping software available and fully compatible with NMEA standards (all versions).

Hardware compatibility: Works with any Bluetooth enabled devices via Bluetooth Serial Port Profile such as Phones/Smartphone, Pocket PC (PDA), laptop/tablet PC, and MacBook.

It has a built-in rechargeable battery with a battery life of about 12 hrs per full charge. OnCourse Edition 3 supports WAAS and EGNOS, with even greater sensitivity and accuracy than ever before. On most occasions is able to obtain a low HDOP value of 0.8 to 1.5. When you first turn on the unit, it would acquire GPS position fix in under 45 seconds on average and then obtaining WAAS / EGNOS automatically with extremely low HDOP value of as low as 0.8 per our test in WAAS. NOTE: WAAS/EGNOS may not available in all areas.
